About
TheJoey.Net is the weblog of Joe Casabona, a web developer who attends the University of Scranton. He is real bad at writing these about pages and hates writing in the 3rd person.
I never know what to say about myself. Like should I mention I love web development and programming? I fix computers and am an all around computer geek? Can I mention things like I also play paintball and love video games?? Or should I just talk about my blog? The fact that it started in 2002 more like a diary than a blog. Well, I mean you know how high school is. Or maybe you don't. It's cool.
Really, I am a 20 year old computer geek who likes the aforementioned. You can check out my xbox live gamer card below. And when I am not gaming I am usually programming, PHP being my weapon of choice. But I am teaching myself (with some help from the University of Scranton) Java. As for the blog, it became a permanent resident of my server some time in 2004 when I named it "TeHJoey" and bought the domain thejoey.net. Since it's birth it evolved from a live journal type diary/sandbox for learning HTML/CSS into a WordPress powered tech/observations weblog. It still is, and will always be my sandbox.
If you are interested, stick around. I usually have some insightful and helpful things to say. You can see my Resumé as well as learn how to contact me over at Casabona.Org. If you use a feed reader of some sort, you can get some RSS goodness here.
